1st – 30th August Llanberis Lake Railway are holding a Teddy Bears Picnic.
1st-31st August. Summer of Slate at the National Slate Museum at Llanberis. Includes a series of craft workshops.
1st-31st August. Wild Child at Penrhyn Castle near Bangor. For Wild in the Woods Project, include finding out about creepy crawlies, crafts and treasure trails.

4th August – Henry V at Bodnant Garden, Tal y cafn, Conwy LL28 5RE. An open air theatre group performing Shakespeare’s Henry V on the front lawn. Bring a picnic and something to sit on. Booking is required £13.00 7.00pm-9.30pm
5th August – North Wales Boat Jumble. 120 stalls selling a vast array of boating equipment and second hand boats. Bodelwyddan Castle, Rhyl, Denbighshire. LL18 5YA.

7th-8th August – Food on the move Trains. Take a train journey and admire the scenery of the Snowdonia National Park. 18th – 26th August. Conwy River Festival & Quay Day. Includes racing for yachts, dayboats, cruisers and classic boats. Sailing and rowing in the Harbour. Lifeboat drills, jet-ski demonstrations and Duck race. Live music and lots of childrens activities. Come along and have a brilliant day.
26th August. Shire Horse Open Day at Bodwyddelan Castle, A great family day out. Attractions include- horse logging and working demonstations. A first this year is also shire horses doing dressage to music. There is also Bernese mountain dogs, birds of prey, alpacas, working huskies and sledges, vintage tractors and plenty of activities for children.
